Bring your emergency expertise to an organization with national recognition!This position is a PRN opportunity assigned to our Urgent Care Float Team covering mutiple Urgent Care facilities.ResponsibilitiesThe Paramedic is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licenses and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environment that is administered by Practice Managers and other leaders and is supported through the Wellstar Clinical Champion Forum. The framework of practice is steered by the Wellstar Professional Practice Model and evidence-based practice and research. Paramedic competencies are derived from these models and supported by the Wellstar Core Competencies. Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum Education/Certification/License RequirementsHigh school graduate or equivalent required.Graduate from a nationally accredited paramedic training program at the certificate or associates degree levelCurrent licensed paramedic in the State of Georgia,BLS required from the American Heart Association, prior to hire date. (ACLS/PALS within 6 months)Experience as a Paramedic preferred.Must complete annual training and CEU requirements.We'd like to invite you on a career journey like no other!
