Network Operations Manager (Marietta, GA)We are looking for a passionate, driven and consistent leader to head up our Network Operations Center team. This person will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring and tracking all NOC team tasks, including incident management, repair and maintenance, closing incidents, preventive maintenance, and resolution of customer issues. The NOC Manager is the face of the NOC team to the customer- ensuring that customer expectations are met when networks are upgraded, modified or decommissioned. ResponsibilitiesPlan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations to ensure stability of customer's infrastructureProvides overall expertise with all network operations functionsAbility to define, implement and enforce configuration management and change management policies and practiceHandle escalations and manage support from different levelsEnsure adherence of operational metricsHire, develop, and retain highly responsive and customer focused engineers to ensure the effective operation of the departmentManage tools, systems and procedures to ensure dynamic management of issues and customer managementEnsures all members of assigned technical teams are effective and fully utilized in order to provide high resource utilizationEvaluates technical skills of the team and ensures there is an appropriate level of expertiseProvide procedural training to staffPerform performance objectives and performance reviews with all team membersAble to work within company Network Drives as neededPerform daily, weekly monthly and quarterly maintenance procedures and defined in the Operational GuidelinesAny other tasks assignedRequirementsPhysical Restrictions & RequirementsAble to lift up to 50 lbsAble to commute to Marietta, GARequired Qualities & SkillsetExcellent leadership qualitiesDemonstrated history of successfully leading teamsExcellent skills in developing processes and procedures for Client & In-house team.Excellent oral communication skills, writing and presentation skills.Ability to interact with clients in a professional, articulate manner.Skilled problem-solver and troubleshooterPrevious basic IP networking experienceAttention to detailInterested in technologyExperience with Windows OSPreferred Skills, Certifications & ExperienceAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment.Network services experience is desired.Post-Secondary Education in related fieldExperience or background in a military, technical or customer service environment.Experience with ticketing systemsLayer 2/3 network navigation and managementVideo Management System Experience Firewall/Router/VPN management (Sonicwall)Wireless Systems (PTP, PTMP)ABBTECH is an EOE/Minorities/Women/Disabled Individuals/Veterans
