join us at XPO.As the Director, Billing and Settlement, you'll be
responsible for directing the operations of multiple billing,
settlement, audit, analysis & recovery groups with the objective to
standardize, optimize and drive efficiency and accuracy using
technology. You'll have weekly billing, settlement & audit
responsibilities for multiple lines of business and will be
responsible for meeting all deadlines and revenue reporting
requirements to Finance weekly. You will also be responsible for
working directly with Finance to track, reconcile and prevent aging
invoice balances using all means, including technology and process

day:Drive process improvement with key stakeholders to maximize
invoice collection %, minimize DSO, minimize aging invoice
variances and exposure.Direct and prioritize the Audit & Recovery
team and Operations Support teamsEstablish and manage change
control of all rating (billing & settlement); particular focus on
electronic billingManage and monitor improvement actions to measure
success of changesReport weekly on progress of key
initiativesEstablish and oversee effective processes, procedure,
and practicesAssist in business integration. Includes clarifying
client start-ups, warehouse facilities, technology process and
integrationReview/establish clearly defined customer/supplier
requirements and requisite proceduresParticipate in auditsWhat you
need to succeed at XPO:At a minimum, you'll need:7 years of
experience in audit, accounts receivable, accounts payable, load
planning or transportation/logisticsWindows applications and
Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel, and
PowerPointIt'd be great if you also have:Bachelor's degree in a
related fieldTransportation Invoicing and Freight Payment
Department Leadership ExperienceEDI Implementation and Process
ExperienceFreight Audit & Pay automation experienceThorough
knowledge of internal company software applications applicable to
position/business unitExperience with SQLFamiliarity with RPABe
