The In-Home Services (IHS) Training team is seeking a Training Logistics Manager to help us deliver a best-in-class training experience for technicians participating in virtual and in-person training. This person will lead a team of Training Logistics Specialists, who are responsible for all training inventory as well as the logistics of training courses. Additionally, this team supports new technicians with uniform and PPE ordering, access management, and assisting with any travel logistics as needed. This position requires a high degree of ownership, communication, and attention to detail. Responsibilities This person must be self-motivated, curious, independent, detail-oriented and driven to carry out the following primary responsibilities: Serve as a liaison between new hires, local office management, and training managers to ensure a best-in-class new hire experience Ensure new hires have the necessary equipment and materials to successfully participate in training Plan, promote and oversee logistics for in-person training events, including coordinating facilities, equipment, and meals as needed Work with recruiting and Training Managers to provide communications to new hires about training logistics In coordination with the travel team, assist with any travel logistics for technicians as needed Manage all training inventory at assigned locations, including completing physical inventory audits and cycle counts, handling defects, and placing orders and shipments to required offices Orders, maintains base stock inventories, and handles all shipment logistics for issuing new hire uniforms, badges, and PPE Collaborate with the Fleet and Inventory teams to effectively manage training inventory, make recommendations on process improvements, and implement changes Coordinate the training schedule, including creating, publishing, and achieving training events Implement and manage course communications and reporting in coordination with the Learning Technology Administrator, including email templates, training rosters, and completions #LI-JM2 Qualifications A successful Training Logistics Manager will have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred and 2-3 years of related experience in a relevant field such as event coordination, operations, training, inventory management; 1 year supervisory experience preferred Strong organization, project management, problem solving, and communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences Knowledge and understanding of inventory and logistics concepts Meticulous organizational skills, high attention to detail, and delivery on commitments Excellent customer service, technical support, and interpersonal skills Very adaptable, and able to handle multiple competing priorities and duties in a fast-paced, result-driven, time-critical environment with minimal daily oversight Ability to travel 25-50% Compensation: $64,800.00/Year - $89,400.00/Year From versatile health perks to new career opportunities, check out our benefits on our careers website.
