Job Description My client, a leading global automation and material handling company, is searching for a Service Desk (Ops) Managerin the Marietta, GA (Atlanta) area. As a Service Desk Manager,you will be responsible for all service management for customers while ensuring support is given to improve daily operations and resolve issues. You will also be responsible for leading a team of support engineers to handle customer support directly. Essential Functions: Manage daily operations of a support center and service delivery processes including issue management Recruit, hire and train new support engineers along with managing existing employees Report to customers Manage KPI's to improve the overall performance of the support team Manage a 24/7 complex support environment Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (preferably in engineering or relatable subject) 7+ yearsmanaging service operations Understanding of either PLC controlsor IT systems HR understanding of procedures and processes Must be flexible with work hours, if need be.
