Job Description Job Description H VAC Test Technician 1 1st shift: Monday – Thursday (6am - 4:30PM) Pay: $22/hr. Description: Must be able to perform the following analytical duties in a reasonable and productive time frame. Job Duties Demonstrate knowledge of refrigeration and electrical components, their use, and the proper operation of those components Must be familiar with HVAC and dehumidification systems Must have knowledge of different refrigerant gasses (R-134, R407C, R410A, etc) Must have industrial electrical knowledge to trouble shoot HVAC or environmental control systems Must be willing to assist the Test Technician II; train in all areas of Test Other duties, as assigned Qualifications: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) One to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience prior to advancing to the next level Ability to use all appropriate test equipment including, but not limited to, meters, refrigeration gauges, etc Ability to use all safe practices when dealing with electricity and pressurized systems HVAC training/school required or in-process Required Mathematical Skills Working knowledge of HVAC formulas used in sizing/selection of product and a complete understanding of psychometrics and the use of psychometric formulas Benefits : Eligible after 60 days of direct employment 1st year, accumulate 15 days of Paid Time Off- 3 weeks.
