Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in
Bridgeport, CT, serving school settings with some travel required.
This role focuses on providing specialized speech and language
support to students, helping them achieve their communication goals
in an educational environment. Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose,
and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in
students. Develop and implement individualized education programs
(IEPs) tailored to each students needs. Collaborate with teachers,
parents, and other education professionals to support student
progress. Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy
sessions and student outcomes. Participate in multidisciplinary
team meetings and contribute professional insights. Qualifications:
Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language
Pathologist. Experience working with children in a school setting
preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to
effectively engage with students, staff, and families. Flexibility
and willingness to travel between school locations as required.
Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
Location: Bridgeport, CT, with travel to multiple school sites
