Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.

considered. A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced
Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students,
serving K-12 learners. This contract position begins January 5,
2026, and runs through May 21, 2026, requiring on-site commitment
in the Chattanooga area, with assignments varying by individual
student schedules. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized
instruction tailored to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students across
K-12 grade levels. Follow students' schedules closely to support
their educational needs throughout the school day. Collaborate with
school staff and families to develop and implement individualized
education plans. Utilize expertise in communication strategies and
auditory access to enhance student learning. Qualifications: Active
Tennessee Department of Education teaching certification specific
to Deaf and Hard of Hearing education. Experience working with
students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing preferred. Ability to
manage a diverse caseload and adapt instruction to varying student
needs and schedules. Strong communication and collaboration skills
to engage with students, families, and school personnel. Location
and Hours: On-site position based in the Chattanooga area,
Tennessee. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Contract role for the
current school year (CSY). This role offers the chance to make a
