We are seeking a Part Time Language Arts Teacher to work on evenings and Saturdays to join our team! You will educate students in Advanced Grammar, Critical Reading and Essay Writing skills. Responsibilities: Manage and educate students in a classroom setting in a fast paced environment. Adhere to established teaching curriculum Maintain positive relationships with students and parents Document and share student grades and evaluations We are looking for someone who o is patient and kind, and also enthusiastic and fun o can multitask well, working with several children at the same time o is willing to be trained o is tech savvy and proficient in computers. Qualifications: Previous experience in teaching or other educational fields Strong classroom management skills Ability to build rapport with students Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities High school teachers may apply for 2 hour slots to fit their current school schedule. Summer hours: Wednesdays 3-7pm Saturdays 9 to 1pm.
