Gentry Law Firm is a small but growing firm that helps good people negotiate rough divorces and helps them achieve their best future. We are experiencing strong growth, and we need an office assistant in our Marietta office.

You will be handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office duties and errands.

In order for you to be selected as a candidate, you will need the ability to write clearly and be proficient with word processing applications. A pleasing personality with strong communication skills is also highly valued. We are seeking a self-starter with a positive, upbeat attitude and someone that is organized and can multitask efficiently.

Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to:
--- Answering and transferring incoming calls
--- Taking detailed messages
--- Assisting with the client intake process
--- Handle mail and packages
--- Maintain general office order and cleanliness
--- Confirm meetings and appointments
--- Greeting guests and clients with a smiling face
--- Refilling supplies as needed
--- Willing to step in when and where needed
--- Run errands to the post office and bank
--- Help maintain client case files
--- Day-to-day office operations

Qualifications:
Experience working as a receptionist or office assistant in a professional environment, preferably in a law firm or professional services firm is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills Abilities
--- Strong organizational skills
--- Exceptional written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
--- Works well in a fast-paced environment
--- Can maintain good interpersonal relations and communications with lawyers and support staff
--- Time management skills to prioritize and complete a variety of tasks throughout the day
--- Patience and listening skills to respond appropriately and interact positively with upset customers
