The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting financial operations across a diversified investment portfolio. Working closely with Fund Controllers and other team members, you'll help drive accurate reporting, seamless financial processing, and strong internal controls. Why You'll Love This Staff Accountant Role: Be part of a successful and growing company with a collaborative culture Gain exposure to investment portfolios, construction projects, and fund-level reporting Work alongside experienced professionals in accounting, real estate, and asset management Contribute to impactful financial processes with room to grow professionally Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant: As a Staff Accountant , you will: Support the Assistant Fund Controller and collaborate with AP and Treasury teams to maintain timely and accurate financial records Manage invoice processing and respond to vendor inquiries using the central accounts payable system Assist with the construction loan draw process and related documentation Post investor transactions and assist with timely banking activity Perform bank reconciliations using accounting software Record journal entries and ensure general ledger accuracy Prepare monthly account schedules and reconciliation reports Help finalize monthly financial statements under the guidance of Fund Controllers Contribute to audit and tax documentation during year-end cycles Take on special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed What We're Looking For in a Staff Accountant: To succeed as a Staff Accountant , you should bring: A bachelor's degree in Accounting A solid understanding of accounting theory and GAAP The ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving business environment Experience with real estate accounting (preferred but not required) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; Yardi experience is a plus Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset New grads are welcome to apply!
