Coverage options may include: Medical, dental, life, disability, vision, and supplemental insurance Company paid holidaysPaid Time Off (PTO) plans Performance bonus potential 401k plan with company matchExpectations Deliciously Exceeded.Job PurposeManage shift operation of facility, including production and packaging of finished goods, personnel, labor cost control, waste control, and food safety.Essential FunctionsExecute production schedule to meet customer orders and ensure quality and food safety standards are maintainedEstablish employee schedule and coordinate work of production associates to achieve plant goals/metricsContinually train, coach, and supervise new and existing employeesUtilize performance measurement systems to provide feedback to direct reports in areas of productivity, cost, quality, food safety, and employee safetyHold employees accountable for attendance, job expectations, GMPs, productivity metrics, and SOP complianceOperate within the Production labor budget; report on direct labor, production efficiencies, quality, and safetyManage equipment downtime according to issue, saving as much product as possibleParticipate in pre-operation audits and ensure deficiencies noted during the audit are addressedMaintain safe working conditionsWork with Human Resources regarding personnel and performance issuesSupport food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured productsPerform other job-related duties as assignedQualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)Degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent work experience2-5 years of leadership experience in production, preferably in the food industry, or manufacturing experience requiredBRC, SQF, or AIB certification knowledge desiredStrong computer skills including experience with warehouse management systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft OfficeStrong leadership and team-building skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to think critically and solve complex problemsAbility to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environmentSelf-directed with the ability to work without close supervisionExpectations (Exhibit and Promote Company's Core Values)People: We engage, empower, and appreciate our people- they are our finest ingredient Safety: We invest in systems, policies, and training that ensure safety Customer Partnerships: We make decisions with the customer experience in mind and ensure win/win outcomes Collaboration: We leverage each other's unique experiences to drive the best outcomes for our expanding company Communication: We inform and listen to our team members, customers, suppliers, and investors Results: We prioritize activities that drive profitable growth, and we celebrate our achievements An Equal Opportunity Employer.
