Staff Accountant wanted for Regional General Contracting Company
Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a Commercial General Contractor to identify a Staff Accountant to join their team in the North Atlanta suburbs. This position reports directly to the Controller.

  The Staff Accountant's duties include but are not limited to:
  
  • Accounts payable and job cost tracking
    
  • Create purchase orders and assist with subcontracts
    
  • Verify vendor checks
    
  • Provide back-up support to Controller
    
  • Interact with office staff, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
    
  • Assist with job site needs such as starting/stopping utilities, obtaining jobsite posters, manage cell phones for superintendents and project managers, etc
    
  • Relieve receptionist as needed
    
  • Other duties and ad hoc requests as assigned
    The Staff Accountant's Qualifications:
    
    • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
      
    • 2+ year's experience
      
    • Experience with Timberline a plus
      
    • Detail oriented
      
    • Ability to think through problems
      
    • Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
